The new target of the LAPSUS$ team, which has made its name known to companies such as Ubisoft recently, is Microsoft and OKTA.
The news emerged after hackers leaked internal projects and source codes on Telegram. The leaked 37GB archive allegedly contains data on Microsoft's Bing, Bing Maps and Cortana. It is also claimed that the file contains information about OKTA's Atlassian package and Slack channels.
"We think this system that powers many of the biggest companies is pretty weak in terms of security," the hackers explained on Telegram.
In addition, the group announced that they had leaked to LG Electronics for the second time in the same year.
Competent people from OKTA and Microsoft state that the LAPSUS$ team leaked false information and that such problems did not occur in their systems.
